Dr. James Kerner is a board-certified dermatologist and also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). He is an expert in all aspects of dermatology, including medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetics. His formal education and training include:

Dr. Kerner has practiced in the Las Cruces community over the past 19 years and raised his family there. He is also well-known as ‘The Ink Doc,’ ostensibly the world’s most tattooed dermatologist, providing educational resources, safety recommendations, and media entertainment to both clinicians and enthusiasts.
In his spare time, he enjoys travel, scuba diving, motorcycles, photography, and writing.
